Well, we almost made it to a year. The other night Jeremy took Will upstairs to change his diaper (a poopy, I might add) while I was working in the garage. I heard him yell something about diapers or wipes but I ignored him (thinking, "Surely he can find what he needs!"). Then the yell became more frantic so I came into the house to find Jeremy frantically searching for a diaper, any diaper, no matter the size. Alas, for the first time in our parenting career, we were truly without a diaper. I couldn't believe it because I am the girl who is ALWAYS prepared for almost any situation. Seriously, you should see our stash of toilet paper, paper towels, and anything else you can buy in bulk! Anyway, Jeremy (who is already wearing his pj's and has to put his real clothes back on) hops into the car and runs to the grocery store while I stick Will into the bathtub. While he is gone it starts to thunder and so now I'm stuck with a diaperless baby in a thunderstorm. Thankfully, it didn't start lightning so Will took a bath until he was shivering. (What was taking Jeremy so long!?!)
Taking my chances on cleaning up a bodily function, I got Will out of the bath and partially dressed him for the night. About 10 minutes later Jeremy rushes in with not just a pack of diapers, but a huge, jumbo box of about a billion diapers. It totally cracked me up! What a night!
As you can see, Will continued to have a great night, despite our antics.
P.S. I debated on posting this because, once again, it shows our incompetence/mistakes/mishaps. But then, if you can't laugh at yourself who can you laugh at? Have a great weekend!

Hey Da! At least Will cooperated while you were out of diapers and didn't create any messes for you to clean up!! He looks so big standing up in that picture! I can't believe he's almost one!!!

SO funny! I was trying to think if that has happened to us yet, and realized that I have exactly 2 diapers left for Eli. Guess we'll be making a run to the store later! Another example of how kids just suck all the brains out we ever had!
