When we were adequately full (and tired!) we decided to head on over to Hilton Head. We got settled into our condo and then decided to hit the beach. It was getting dark so we didn't have much time to play. Will did really well with the sand and surf and didn't freak out when the ICE COLD ocean water lapped at his ankles. After only a few minutes of playing we headed back to get Will ready for bed. He was a real champ during the road trip and during our time in Savannah, but he was exhausted! I'll post more beach pictures/stories later...it's time to unpack!

P.S. It's hard to believe that it was only a year ago yesterday (September 23rd) that we received the initial phone call asking us to consider adopting a baby that needed a home. Who knew that we would be taking that same baby on vacation the next year?

Boy, God can really orchestrate some pretty incredible things. I am so glad that you answered the phone that day. :) Glad vacation was good! Welcome home. Give Wilbur a kiss for me.
Isn't it funny how God's time is always perfect? Can you imagine life without him? I am glad you had a safe trip.
SO glad you're home safe. Love the toes in the sand. Love you guys and love Will and I am even MORE glad that we have gotten to experience the last year with you guys. God has taught us SO much.
